MJ gives LeBron a Steaming Hot Carl

I assume this is a mashup someone made but holy crap is it awesome.

Someone should force LeBron to watch this on repeat until he wins a championship.

MJ is old, still has it.

Nice video of MJ dropping bombs on some semi-pro. Somehow, he manages to elevate despite wearing 75 pounds of jeans. Seriously, he must be squatting 900 pounds to even get off the ground in those pants. via

I bet MJ could still drop 20/game in the NBA. I think he's 46 years old.

Get off my stage, peons!

Michael Jordan was elected to the Hall of Fame yesterday.

As obvious as the nomination is, it's tough to see real closure to MJ's career. For one, it means the formal end to the best Chicago athlete of all time. Secondly, somewhere, deep in the recesses of my heart, there was always a chance he would come back and play for the Bulls. He's un-retired 3 times already...

I got an email from my buddy JD (who for some reason goes by "Spanky")  yesterday, and I thought I'd share with the Dong nation:

" He walks on water. What a total slap in the face to Jordan. Barely a mentioning on any sports network prior to today about the NBA Hall of Fame inductees and he had to share the stage with Stockton, Sloan, David Robinson, and Vivian F'ING Stringer. How dare they make him share the stage with anyone. The NBA needs Jordan in the Hall more than he needs them. If Jordan wanted, he could create his own Hall of Fame and make it bigger than the NBA's. How many players in any sport can we say that THIS person was definitely the greatest to ever play? Tiger? And that's GOLF!

Knowing that Jordan was playing on TV gave me the chills as a kid. He was absolute perfection. All we do with sports athletes today is compare them with Jordan to try and convince ourselves that they are better or bigger than Jordan was to appease ourselves of the crushing truth that Jordan will never play again. "

And this guy isn't even from Chicago.

It's been said and written more times (and more eloquently) than I could summarize but essentially, Jordan was the greatest athlete of all time. He changed the sport he played in and changed all of sports as an industry. He is and will always be the benchmark for all great athletes in any sport, forever. Fin.

Unfortunately, I couldn't organize these photos chronologically (damn you blogger! I don't have 10 hours to cut and paste picture code!) but this is a nice trip down memory lane. I tried to pick some memorable shots... I really get goosebumps looking at these. Vivid recollection. You look at the pic of MJ, Pip and Rodman and it literally takes you back...

Jordan signing his rookie contract with Rod Thorn. You could have added 5 zeros and he'd still be underpaid.

One of the most dynamic trios in sports. Ever.

I don't know too many guys that have their own shrine...

Thank god he didn't sully himself with the lowly Cubs. I still believe he would have eventually turned out to be a good OF.

Epic

Coming out party in 88 Olympics

Poor Ehlo... forever posterized.

For the last time, he did NOT push off you fucking cynical bastards. Greatest last shot ever.

6 times!!

Sicko

His most memorable moment on the Wizards. I believe that's Mariah Carey.

The saddest picture of all time.

More Jordan visual masturbation

With the emergence of non-youtube video databases, I've been watching all kinds of entertaining videos from around the world (including a very intriguing "DVDAWH" collection- apparently WH = "with horse").

I've also been watching some old-school footage of MJ from college that I thought to share with you folks:

A few updates and links to keep everyone entertained:

1) Brian Urlacher brushed the sand out of his vag and decided to end his threatened hold out. Apparently he hasn't shared his notes with Tommie Harris.

2) The Bulls miraculously got the 1st pick and have to decide between Rose and Beasley, which is like having to decide between a free steak or free milkshake.

3) The ChiSox and Cubbies are both in 1st place, which is awesome. Until the Cubs lose 20 straight to end the season out of the playoffs. This will actually happen.

Is this for real?

So I was searching the web, not looking for porn, and I came across this video:

Online Videos by Veoh.com

First of all, holy crap that was awesome.

Secondly, that sure looks like classic Jordan.

Has anyone ever seen this or heard about it before? What team is this? Is this legit? I've seen a lot of these Kobe commercials where he's jumping over cars and snake-infested swimming pools, and of course the NFL promo's with Vick throwing a ball into the upper deck etc, so I don't know what to believe anymore.

Someone tell me this really happened!

I Don't Want To Get Off On A Rant Here...

He can't hit a golf ball, but Jordan is a meast with a sniper rifle

If you had the displeasure of watching ESPN suck off Duke, North Carolina and Dick Vitale last night (Oh man. I totally just threw up. Uh oh, here comes some more....) you may have heard that North Carolina power forward/goofy white bitch Tyler Hansbrough passed Michael Jordan for 11th place on the all time UNC scoring list. That may be the only time you ever see Hansbrough's name and MJ in the same sentence. That is, of course, unless it turns out that Hansbrough likes betting or infidelity or child neglecting.

It is a shame though, as there hasn't been a less likeable college basketball star since...well...since UNC's own Sean May. 'Tons o' Fun' somehow managed to thwart the dream of a National Championship from the 2005 Illinois team which featured the likeable threesome of Deron Williams, Dee Brown and Luther Head. Man I miss those guys. You know who doesn't miss them? Bill Self. Fuck you, Bill Self. You took your skills for recruiting and ability to coach up to, but not win the big game to Kansas. Thus leaving us with a group of really talented kids and no one to lead them. Bruce Webber is the Bill Calahan of college basketball. Chump.

But anyway, fuck Tyler Hansbrough. He doesn't deserve to park Jordan's car at the country club. Which is funny, because after his stellar career at UNC is over, that may be as close to the NBA as he is going to get.

Jordan could not be reached for comment.
