NEW YORK -- Kansas City Royals catcher Miguel Olivo and pitcher Zack Greinke have been suspended five games each for causing trouble in a weekend game with the Chicago White Sox.
White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen was suspended two games and Royals manager Trey Hillman was given one game Tuesday. All four penalties also included undisclosed fines.
Olivo and Greinke appealed their suspensions, which were to begin with Tuesday night's game against Boston. They can continue to play until the appeal process is complete.
This is some bullshit. 2 Games for Ozzie? He didn't even hit anybody!
Fuck. You.
Maybe this wil inspire the Sox to turn things around as of late... Hell, according to ESPN, Prince Fielder brawling with his starting pitcher will "improve teamwork and chemistry" and Ken Lucas (the guy whos nose is broken via Steve Smith) said his fight "might be the best thing to happen to the Panthers chemistry. Am I taking crazy pills? ...what are these pills anyway, someone's been leaving them on my desk every day this week...
